synthpop music

I'm a pretty big fan of groups like VNV Nation and Apoptygma Berzerk. I haven't really been able to listen to much of their stuff though. I really liked VNV's song Beloved. Roland Harris (the singer from VNV) has very compelling lyrics and a pretty unique style. I first heard VNV Nation at a local dance club several years ago. The song I heard was called Standing, and really compelled me to listen to more of their songs..

I recently discovered a group called Assemblage 23. I've been listening to his album Defiance and I really like it. I also got to see them live on 4/13/2003 at The Church. I also like Beborn Beton's music. They're a german band with sort of a Depeche Mode sound.

I listen to Real Synthetic Audio every week as it generally has some new material that i haven't heard before. I've found some really neat bands this way, particularly some german ones that i would never have encountered otherwise.
