j-rock / visual kei

I like some of the J-rock groups out there, and I think that the look of most visual kei groups is pretty cool.. Some of my favorite groups are: X-Japan, Dir en Grey, Luna Sea, Malice Mizer, Gackt, and my current obsession, Kana.

If you haven't heard of visual kei before, it is a type of band that puts their look on the same level as their music. They generally have very interesting outfits.. It also tends to be mostly male bands, even though you might swear that they were female from some of the pictures. Kana is the only female j-rocker that i've found so far, and she's just so cute! She has sort of a gothic lolita style (more of the cute variety), and always carries this panda doll. She also seems to change her hair color almost as much as her look. n_n
